Ronaldo said in an interview with Apostagolos: "Mbappe is the player who impressed me the most in World Cup, he gave a special tournament from the first game to the final."
"Mbappe didn't score against England in the quarter-finals and against Morocco in the Golden Square, but he did well alongside assists," he added.
"Technically, Mbappe excelled impressively and unstoppable, he should have been named the best player in the World Cup Qatar 2022 because he deserves it," he said.
"Mbappe was great in the final when he scored four goals, because I credit him with scoring the penalty," he stressed.
"There are a lot of players who have had great speed in World Cup, but Mbappe was the one with the best speed."
"Actually, when I see him playing, he reminds me of myself in my best years, he knows how to use the smallest space perfectly," Ronaldo explained.
"It's unpredictable what Mbappe will do with or without the ball, and in one-on-one he's great for me and impressive."
