Chelsea beat Lille with a double and cross for the champions' quarter-finals

Chelsea achieved a precious victory, 2-1, during the french match against Lille, in return for the champions league final.


The Blues scored christian pulisic in the 45+3 minute and Cesar Azpilicueta in the 71st minute, while Borak Yilmaz scored Lille's only goal from a penalty kick in the 38th minute.


Chelsea won the first leg (2-0) at Stamford Bridge in England, sealing a 4-1 win over the quarter-finals.


Thematch  began, threatened by the home side, with Lille striker Borak Yilmaz hitting a powerful ball that was distracted by Chelsea defender Thiago Silva, turning into a corner in the 7th minute.



The referee awarded the match a free kick straight to The Night, which was cleared by Borak Yilmaz, who shot the top of the Blues' goal in the 11th minute.


Chelsea's players tried to hit Lille defence through cross balls through Christian Pulisic and Marcos Alonso inside the area but without any exploitation.


Andreas Christensen complained of an injury and could not complete the match, replacing Him with Chalobah in the 33rd minute.


Lille striker Borak Yilmaz scored his team's goal in the 38th minute, from the penalty spot where the referee counted it after reviewing the video technology, following a touch of a hand on Georginio.



Christian Pulisic scored chelsea's equaliser in the 45+3 minute, receiving a pass from Georginio to single out the goal and put the ball into the net, and the first half ended in a positive draw with a goal like that.


At the start of the second half, Lille striker Jonathan struck a header that went away from Chelsea in the 51st minute.


Chelsea's Antonio Rudiger hit a ball from outside the area, which passed away from Lille's goal in the 60th minute.


The chelsea goalkeeper was denied a header from Lille's Exika in the 63rd minute.


Cesar Azpilicueta added Chelsea's second goal in the 71st minute, receiving a cross from Mason Montt from the left end and hitting straight into the net.


The final minutes of the match continued quite quietly on both sides, with the Blues sealing their quarter-final.
