Barcelona clinched a hard-fought win against hosts Osasuna with an unanswered goal on Tuesday in the 33rd round of La Liga.

Jordi Alba scored the game's only goal in the 85th minute, gifting his team three precious points that brought him much closer to the Lega title.


Al Barsa took his tally to 82 points, moving away from Real Sociedad's 14-point lead over Real Madrid tonight.


Osasuna received his 13th loss in the league championship, freezing his tally at 44 points in ninth place.


Barca took full control from the first minutes, and Balde posed great danger with his leftwing launches.

Pedri missed Barcelona's most dangerous chances in the 25th minute, then caused Osasuna defender Jorge Hernando to be sent off with a straight red card.

In the 79th minute, Lewandowski unscrewed the jinx, shaking the net with a first goal, but his joy was incomplete because of the presence of his teammate, Ferran Torres, in an offside position.


The Catalan giants did not despair until Jordi Alba scored a dearly goal after an attack started by Lewandowski, the cradle of Frenkie de Jong, and Alba completed it into the net with a direct shot with his left.


In the final minutes remaining, Pedri and Ansu Fati missed the chance to double the score with a second goal, holding the crowd's breath at Camp Nou until the final whistle was blown after 3 minutes of lost time.
