Barcelona beat Atletico Madrid by four


Barcelona beat Atletico Madrid by four Barcelona won 4-2 against Atlético Madrid on Sunday evening as part of the 23rd round of La Liga at the Bluegrana Camp Nou.

Barcelona scored Alba, Jave, Araujo and Alves in the minutes (10, 21, 43, 49), while Atlético Madrid scored Carrasco and Suarez in the 8th and 58th minutes.

With this victory, Barcelona increased their tally to 38 points in fourth place in the La Liga table, while Atlético Madrid were frozen at 36 points in fifth place.

The game started under pressure from Barcelona, and Ferran Torres sent a powerful ground shot past the left-hand post of Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak in the 5th minute.


Yannick Carrasco scored Atlético Madrid's first goal of the match in the 8th minute, with Luis Suarez passing a cross from Carrasco's right end inside the area, which housed the ball down the right of Barcelona goalkeeper Ter Stegen.


The reply came quickly from Barcelona, with a goal just two minutes later, with a cross inside the area from Dani Alves that reached Jordi Alba, who shot to the far left of Atlético Madrid goalkeeper Oblak.

Atletico Madrid striker Joao Felix went off on the left end, hitting a powerful ball that passed past the left-hand post of Barcelona goalkeeper Ter Stegen in the 19th minute.


Jaffe added Barcelona's second goal in the 21st minute, receiving a cross from the right end through newcomer Adama Traore, and headed a ball that hit the Atletico Madrid defender before the Goal of Oblak inhabited the Goal keeper Rujiplankos.


Joao Felix almost added an equaliser for Atletico Madrid in the 23rd minute, receiving a cross from the right end, but he shot awkwardly into the hands of Barcelona goalkeeper Ter Stegen.

Barcelona striker Adama Traore failed to take advantage of a catastrophic error from Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Oblak in the 29th minute and wasted the chance to score the third goal for The Bluegrana.


Atletico Madrid's Savic, close to scoring the equaliser for The Rokhiplankos in the 36th minute, had a powerful header but passed next to the right-hand post of barcelona's goal.

Barça defender Araujo added Barcelona's third goal in the 43rd minute, the attack began with a header from Gerard Pique that hit the horizontal crossbar, bouncing back in front of Ferran Torres, who failed to shoot to come araujo and put the ball into the net.

Luis Suarez scored Atlético Madrid's second goal in the 58th minute from a header where he received the ball from Jimenez and shot straight into the head in ter Stegen's net, refusing to celebrate.

Alves violently intervened on the feet of Atletico Madrid star Yannick Carrasco, and the referee decided to resort to video technology, which proved wrong on the Brazilian star, and the most famous direct red card in the face of Elvis in the 69th minute, to put Barcelona in trouble until the end of the meeting.


Attempts from Barcelona continued to widen the gap, but without any new effectiveness, with the Bluegrana scoring the three points and the team jumping to the golden box.
